Today, the Secure and Succeed Act was introduced to the Senate floor, which addresses many of the immigration and border-related concerns that have been publicly debated for many years. This bill includes plans for improving border security through physical and technological means, increases manpower, ends catch and release, and provides a path to citizenship for DACA recipients, among other measures. It also once again makes Border Patrol agents fall under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
