The 2017 Convention of the National Border Patrol Council is scheduled to be called to order at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, and continue until adjournment on Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. For privacy and security reasons, information regarding the precise location of the Convention will be furnished to all Locals in the near future, along with each Local’s authorized contingent of delegates and voting strength. Election of delegates to be certified to represent Locals in the upcoming Convention must be timely conducted in accordance with each Local’s Constitution and By-Laws, as well as the Council’s Constitution and By-Laws (or see AFGE Constitution and By-Laws for further guidance). Locals should review and adhere to the changes made to the NBPC Constitution at the 2015 Convention regarding the number(s) of authorized delegates to represent Locals at NBPC Conventions.
